The goal was to develop a distinctive and memorable brand identity for Piatto that reflects its commitment to fresh, garden-grown ingredients and its cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
The branding needed to convey a sense of natural beauty, sustainability, and culinary excellence. The logotype for Piatto is entirely handcrafted. This design features a tilted script-like style with a geometric twist, aiming to blend organic elements with a modern touch.
The intention was to reflect Piatto’s combination of traditional gardening and contemporary cooking. The handcrafted logotype provides a personal, artisanal feel, aiming to mirror the care Piatto puts into its food and service.")

Design Elements and Inspiration:
The cross used as a stamp-like element is stylized and minimalized from the intricate tile work found within the restaurant.
The colors were chosen to reflect the main interior hues of Borchardt, creating a direct connection to the restaurant's ambiance.
I selected a modern and humanist sans-serif font for both the title and body text, providing a contrast that is both elegant and timeless.
The fusion of these elements resulted in a label line that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also versatile enough to adapt to various sizes and products.")
