Amrita Yoga Wellness Center

Amrita is a Sanskrit word that literally means "immortality", and is often referred to in texts as nectar.

What really sets this studio apart is the AMAZING atmosphere. You walk into the studio and are immediately greeted by a flowing water fountain (picture coming soon). There is an open airy design, and modern chandelier lighting hanging from the ceiling. Along one wall of the studio is this super modern fireplace (see attached). Private showers and modern locker rooms. Amrita also offers nutritional counseling, massage, and spa services.

Our target audience is 22 - 45 year old urban men and women in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Fishtown has experienced recent growth with an influx of artists and professionals in the area. Our yoga studio is a high-end upscale experience with mid-range prices. Our target demographic probably already belongs to a yoga studio and is looking for something more convenient or with a wider range of services.

I am looking for a home page design that will be part of a larger website. I will design the interior pages based on the look and feel of the home page. The site should be clean and easy to navigate, with a good use of white space. The studio itself incorporates the elements of earth, air, water, and fire. The feel of those things should be reflected in the site.

I would love if the rough wood elements were incorporated, or the fire from the fireplace, or the design of the chandelier.

The studio is under construction literally, but there will be professional photographs featured on the site.
