New website design wanted for Liveguide (No new entries needed)

We cover entertainment event listings in Australia, delivering the most comprehensive 'what's on' content for music, arts, theater and entertainment events.

http://www.au.timeout.com/sydney/ - is a clean design but contains a lot of content/sections and ways to navigate to more pages

http://www.inthemix.com.au/ - information rich with lots of sections and links. it is more image heavy than we would like

The new homepage should be easy to navigate but contain a lot of content sections which are displayed clearly. We want an information-rich page which is also attractive and mobile-friendly.

The goal is for the homepage to clearly display the highlighted local events and for the user to then click on content links to gain more information.

Please refer to the 'New Liveguide Design Template' PDF which is attached. It is a good guide to sections, text and navigation required on the new homepage.

The 'Design Template' doc is NOT a good guide to color scheme. Designer should select color scheme - limit the amount of colors, make text/section headings easy to read.

Our existing logo is attached (PSD file) - please 'freshen' the look of this (background can be removed/changed) and make it work with your chosen color scheme.

Our main audience is Australians aged 18-35, interested in finding information about entertainment events. They are increasingly accessing site on mobile devices so design should be mobile-friendly.
