We need a modern professional design for a web app. We'd like to use the functional layout you can see at laudits.com, including navigation and functionality.
Everything else can be changed including, colors (we prefer bright color schemes), fonts, images, backgrounds, sizes, graphics.
The site needs to have broad appeal to knowledge workers, but it must be less formal and more entertaining than, for example, LinkedIn. The target market is typically IT professionals and other office workers, mostly of ages 25-45.
It's very important to create a simple, clean, fun, and modern design using the existing functional components. Please don't add stock pictures of the usual smiling office drones.
The design is for three pages:
1. The home page: http://www.laudits.com The page is designed to get people to login as a funnel to the next step, sending a professional thank you. In addition to the existing components, the home page should also display a counter of the number of Laudits sent.
2. The page for sending the Laudits--this is the key "conversion" action that our funnel leads to. http://www.laudits.com/give_laudits (Login to see; contact us if run into trouble logging in).
3. A sample public Laudits page http://www.laudits.com/pub/1114/tom…rody/30qor Users put a link to their public Laudits page on their resume, LinkedIn account, blog, etc.
Components such as headers, footers, headlines, menus, forms and text containers must be modular to allow reuse on other pages.
