How joe.klecha4 started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Collective is a website for building teams and culture in an organization through social media.
We improve corporate culture by enabling companies and coworkers to learn more about employees, to establish connections and commonalities faster, and to build closer relationships, better teams, and stronger organizations.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
Current logo and themes are mostly comprised of black, grey, red colors schemes.
We want this to be vibrant, eye catching, and energizing. A good mixture of professional, innovative, and cutting edge.
We expect as we start seeing designs in the contest we will be able to provide more feedback to get things narrowed in on more specifics.
Homepage - Company overview, model of what the product looks like (sense of team and culture), current model shows a collage of people in a company, search options, inspirational theme (Current - http://www.collective.us)
Personal page - This is the page specific to each person where they describe themselves and provide pictures, videos, projects, etc.. to help other's better understand them. Current model is like a visual resume (may include high school, college, career accomplishments, hobbies, etc.). (Current - http://www.collective.us/joeklecha)
Enterprise page - Each company that uses the site will have a page that forms a "collage" of their employees, define / describe company goals, showcase company accomplishments (business and in the community). Should also have ability to link to lower tiers of the overall company (departments and teams). (Current - http://www.collective.us/organizations/zana)
What to avoid
Not specifically, we are looking for something exciting. We are not happy with our current design (http://www.collective.us) and want to make some big changes yet maintain the same overall though process of gearing towards team building and culture.
Be innovative and don't get too drawn into the current model we have. We want this to be something that people see and feel the need to dive into...
The websites for inspiration are just thoughts, we are not the experts (you are), so please feel free to be innovative and experiment with this...
