Ultimate Musician's League
I've designed a website for music teachers to help evaluate and track the progress of their music students using a fantasy-football themed idea to incorporate a fun, competitive atmosphere in the classroom. My target audience is teachers (probably under the age of 50) and high school and college-aged students.
This is a musician's website using sports/competition as a gateway to practice more, so we would like for the theme to be football/sports and music related. So fusing those two ideas together, like 1.) using the football field and the stadium, without actually showing a football or players in jersey's 2.) putting concert musicians performing in that stadium environment
3.) Using images of people playing band instruments in a WWF-style environment (like the image to the original Rock Band video game).
Those are just some ideas - we are completely open to the artist's creative concepts. This needs to be visually very cool for the high school/college demographic.
Page 1 - This is the landing page and also where people log in to the site. This needs to be very dynamic and visually attractive to show off the features of the site and draw people in.
Page 2 - this is the 'home' page after users log in - this also needs to be visually cool and sexy, but will display more of the data. We have mock ups I will attach in this proposal which will show the kind of information we need displayed on the home page. This page's shell should be used as a template for the rest of the site.
This needs to be a completely responsive site, so keep that in mind during the design process.
I've attached a PSD file of our current logo. We are open to changing this if you have a great idea!
I've also attached a jpg of a sketch of our current homepage - please don't copy this (we're not crazy about it and the home page to look way sexier than this), but use it as an example for what kind of information we would need displayed on the homepage.
