How Ian Ownbey started their web page design journey
3 modular and customizable templates needed for people to create a website for there home.
Look at brief for detailed description of whats needed and how design works.
Must have 3 templates which have different feels, none need to be very detailed or extravagant.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
The site is HomeShew.com. It allows
people to easily create a website for there home, with videos pictures
and text, as well as a "local events" thing from Yelp and Outside.in.
What I need designed are a couple templates for the home's page itself.
How it works is the client picks a template, then picks what they want
where. The template is divided into boxes and for each box they either
choose media, text, or community. Media is for either pictures (with a
link to a popup galery) or video (using http://vimeo.com/ to play the
video). Text is just a text description. Then community is either a
yelp map focused on the house
or a list of Outside.in articles for that zipcode
(http://outside.in/Bronx_NY.xml). Other things that need to be on the
page is a contact form, a "quickbox" for information about the home (#
of rooms, # of floors, address, bathrooms, style etc).
- The templates need to be gridded in such a way that they can have minimum 6 boxes
- Single page design
- Appeals to many different people
- Contact form needs to be present
- Quick info box needs to be prominant
