Move your grey cells

Games & Recreational
We provide an innovative solution that helps seniors develop their grey cells through games, contests and memory challenges. We also provide a social link as our subscribers take part in our community. The subscribers receive a newsletter where they discover the challenge of the week. They take part in the games and contests resolving questions in relation to the subject of the week. Our goal is to gain subscribers to our weekly newsletter and monthly special newsletter. Though our tool is developed for seniors, our target is wider, including middle aged to senior people. We also address professionals of retirement homes or equivalent. We need a design for 2 pages of the website: the landing page the main page of the game section
The design should be minimalist yet appealing. It should convey an idea of dynamism. Play on the fonts and colors The color scheme should convey an idea of energy, “lemon” is the keyword of the website, the game is also a kind of human rendez-vous and should be warm in its atmosphere. Be free on the color scheme but keep in mind: lemon and warm. The navigation should be super easy and intuitive as our target is senior people. Each area of the screen could be separated by a «childish drawn line» conveying an idea of naive design. The design should be responsive.
See the 2 files attached for full details. The information displayed on the pages must be there but not necessary the way it is shown on the .jpg files. Your creativity should be leading the way the content is displayed. We need a full website redesign. We need a landing page, and a “game” page, The landing page should display: (see home-page.jpg) A header with: - the logo, - a navigation menu with links to 3 main pages (Games, Community, My Account), - a login/create account link (could be moved to another place) - a “CONTEST: submit a challenge” section (could be moved to another place) The Main content: - An illustrated menu section with links to 4 pages (About, Games, Community, My Account), - A “How it works section, - Quick access to content section: excerpt and links to featured contents showing images and taglines. - A section with quick access to main commands of the games and website content (read, access the library, play, watch video, my favorites, memory game) A footer with 5 links The “game” page should display: (see game-page.jpg) The Header with: - the logo - a small navigation line to main pages (Games, Community, My Account) + login/create account, - the game title - a “CONTEST: submit a challenge” section (could be moved to another place) - a list of the games of previous weeks, featuring: - a color that shows the status of the game: opened, not opened (2 colors to be considered) - a tag that shows the status (favorite or memo) The "current game" section with: - the tagline of the current game - Buttons to: social, eMail sharing + tag as favorite game + Play again - a menu to navigate in the game either by clicking on the sub-game or clicking on the previous/next buttons. - The game itself featuring text + a media + an answer form + a submit button The footer with 5 links Again, all this is described in the attached files
Again, your creativity comes first, all the content is spread in the attached .jpg files but the way it is organized should come from your creativity!
