Mark was very accomodating with our request for changes, and took time to study our business to ensure the design is really reflecting our core business. Thanks for a job well done Mark.

How Kkeating1 started their web page design journey
FastStart Communications (I don't have a logo so I'm open to suggestions)
I'm an independent public relations/marketing communications professional with more than 20 years experience and a proven track record. My website needs to convey my skills in inbound marketing, driving website traffic, professional writing/ghost writing, B2B communications, and media relations. I'm aiming to engage visitors and maintain a professional tone to the site. Attached is the copy for the home page. I hope that helps better communicate the goal of the site. The navigation bar should have the following headers: home page, inbound marketing, public relations, writing & editing, partners, professional workshops, contact. ABSOLUTELY NO STOCK PHOTOS OF SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE. PLEASE. Also, please no stock images of standard graphs/charts arrows going upward. I need something that depicts and differentiates my business, not 'insert stock photo here.' Thanks.

Targeting high tech and B2B companies. Primarily growing companies or start-ups that can't afford agency retainers yet aren't looking for bargain basement services. The target is a chief marketing officer, start up entrepreneur, CEO or director of communications.
Clean, neat, professional. I plan to engage visitors through various landing pages that prompt the reader to continue through the site. I actually have the majority of the text written and it's on a GoDaddy site -- I now need some creative design to help it come to life.
There is an existing site on GoDaddy. I will share the password. It will depend on initial design concepts.
I like clean, fresh design that's not too busy. (doesn't everybody?). I trust designers know what they're doing. Couple of things I don't like: white text on black background, too many images and too much text (I like Google cleanliness). The pages I write will have few key words up front followed by some more explanatory text below it. I'm also not a fan of literal interpretations of my business. If you want to get a sense of who I am, you can see my background on LinkedIn: Kathleen A. Keating (Boston).
