GoodPractice
GoodPractice is the UK’s leading provider of on-demand learning, offering a range of performance Toolkits for Leaders, Managers, HR Professionals.
GoodPractice is a very dynamic and forward thinking SME and would like this to be reflected on our site. We have recently rebranded and would like to redesign our website to generate leads, further strengthen our brand and help the position the company as thought leaders within the learning and development arena.
Our Toolkits are a form of informal learning and offer organisation wide, just in time support on a vast range of topics. To learn more on toolkits and the benefits they deliver, please visit our website goodpractice.com.
The elements that are non-negotiable on the existing site are:
• corporate logo
• colour palette
our two primary company colours are navy blue (#06347a) and orange (#f15a22)
our secondary company colours are light blue (#009cdc), light green (#73c167) and purple (#9461a8)
we are open to gradient variations on all of these
• fonts
our secondary font is Arial and this should be used throughout the website
The prize is for the home page design only, no coding. The winner will also be commissioned to work with us to design the interior pages of our site.
Our target audience is senior decision makers in the following departments:
HR, Learning and Development, Training and Organisation Development.
We are looking for a creative designer to deliver a contemporary, clean, engaging and professional homepage. On arrival on the home page we need two aspects to be clear to our audience:
• We offer 3 online leadership and management toolkits and
• We are thought leaders in the areas of performance, learning and technology. This will be reflected in the quality of the content in the library and showcased in the latest updates. (The name library is not fixed and we require another name to reflect the dynamic nature/quality of this content)
We have chosen to use drop down menus for the primary navigation – mock ups of this should be included. SEO is of great importance to our site, so most text will be styled using CSS rather than being embedded in Flash or images - designs should allow for this.
The template will be implemented using WordPress and we will require the design in PSD format. Elements we require on the home page are:
Corporate logo
Client Login box
Search box
Navigation bar to include, About Us, Contact Us, Clients, Toolkits, Library
Images for our 3 key toolkits
Message of the week (text and image)
Latest updates (3 bullets to inform of latest articles added to the library on the site)
Newsletter sign up (name and email)
Banner (a small banner to promote upcoming events)
