Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Grabien creates pre-edited news clips for media outlets (online news sites, talk radio, blogs, etc.). We're now creating a consumer-oriented news page highlighting some of the most interesting clips of the day, as well as the headlines driving the day's news.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
The goal is to make this a constantly-updating "front page" for what's going on in America. The there will be three main features: At the top there will be links to live streams and our "LiveClipper" so people can tune into things happening at that moment. There will be headlines of the most talked about/discussed news. And there will be news clips, which is Grabien's stock-in-trade. Perhaps 5-10 curated clips/day. We'll also need spots for ads.
The main news page as previously described. Also, a preview page visitors are brought to after clicking a headline.
What to avoid
See Grabien's existing colors (grey/red/white/black).
I'd like to marry the best parts from traditional media -- i.e., the front page of a newspaper -- and the most modern elements of Grabien (a highly interactive, high-tech, D-I-Y news clipping service). The above described what should be included, but perhaps this will help convey the "feeling" I'd like visitors to experience.
