How larry 2 started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The RAM-CHEM group is a Hong Kong-based materials technology enterprise specialised in providing innovative and tailor-made high quality surface finishing solutions to realise product developments in consumer electronics and healthcare. Our subsidiaries of R&D, manufacturing and distribution work together to serve our high end clients among the Fortune 500 companies.
We serve consumer electronics brands. The target audience of the site are industrial designers, product engineers, metal finishing scientists and investment banks.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
The website content organisation should be clean and simple, rectangular, with dynamic stock photos and banner under the tone of science and technology. We think a uniform colour tone for every page speaks for our focus in business, but the colour tone does vary for different functional businesses we do. Just like the colour tone changes for different drug brands for the pharmaceutical companies.
Solid texture can represent the professional and reliable image of the company. Add a subtle shadow to the solid shapes indicates our attention to the details. Stock photos showing scenes of R&D, problem solving, discussion, holding a technical object show people our process and speak for what we do.
We need your help to build a large corporate website with mainly 5 pages: 1 landing screen, 3 browse sections (for company profile, products & company facilities) and 1 dynamic in-house technology showcase. We prefer to work out the design direction and tone with the designer(s) so we can attend more details in the page layouts afterwards.
What to avoid
Please avoid comic or hand sketching design as it is the opposite image of what we wish to present to our clients.
