inClick Ad Server (UI is white/private labeled)
Since 1999, inMotion Group has been developing of custom software applications designed to service businesses ranging from the Small to Medium sized Business (SMB) to Fortune 500 companies. Our goal is simple, deliver results.
Our flagship product, the inClick Ad Server, currently services hundreds of advertising networks worldwide delivering billions of contextually targeted advertisements every month.
About the Ad Server
The inClick Ad Server is a downloadable white/private labeled self-service advertisement network management system targeted to website owners and ad network operators - commonly known as an advertising server. The current layout was designed around a simple self-service model quite a few years ago. To summarize, three user types have access to the system: Advertisers - those that buy advertising on the network / system, Publishers - those that show advertisements on behalf of the network, Administrator - the user that owns / manages the network. In all cases, the basic layout of the system is the same, only content within the widgets differ.
As you will see, the current interface does not portray the highly scalable, architecturally sound, technically advanced advertisement management system that it is.
The target audience for this product is a combination of advertisers, publishers, internet marketers, website owners, or anyone seeking to monetize their website traffic or network.
The goal for this design update is to maintain the simple self-service approach with a modernized, aesthetically pleasing, layout. We are open to rearranging the entire base interface. For example, navigation is currently on the left side of the screen. We are open to moving this to the top of the screen, a header based navigation, if the work-flow makes sense.
Page element changes are also acceptable. For example: updating the date range selector layout, changing the pause and start existing campaigns from a tick box to a drop-down, adding a graph to representing the resulting report data. The design should be provisioned to allow these type of "widgets".
The overall layout will need to be basic enough to allow the overall color theme to be changed. Since the product is a white-labeled product, the logo is just a placeholder that would be changed by the network owner.

For the purpose of this contest, the example view to be used is the CPC Ads Summary view for an advertiser (see screenshot 1). Also attached is a placeholder graphic (feel free to change it) for the proposed report graph. If you feel that there is additional information that should appear on this view, please feel free to add it to your design. Try to put yourself in the advertisers position when creating your design.
