Accepted File Formats:
xhtml/css, + PSD
The task is to redesign R a i s e a R o o f . c o m to create a Web 2.0 site that will feature a forum, blog, and will categorize various types of prefabricated homes, log cabin homes, cedar homes and products.
The site will feature news, blogs, and potential products on the home page, will have a site map, and in general will focus on both creating a community for 'prefab home building', prefab homes etc, as well as the main goal of conversion, by getting visitors to fill out forms for our leads. It will be simple yet elegant, clean and focused on converting customers by providing both content and product.
Here is a sample that I have created:

I expect any design to be much better than mine. I'm open to ideas, but please include on the front page at least news sections, latest forum posts sections, and be sure to feature the product!
Very much looking forward to what everyone comes up with. Quality designs might allow the contest to end early.
Sites that are unrelated but similar in concept: http://www.glam.com http://www.alloy.com
I really like http://www.windsorclassifieds.com. If you can reproduce that in some way it would be great.
Those sites both merge content and ads/products very well, and the any design should be able to do the same.
Thanks!
