MoonSka32 needed a new twitter background design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 19 designs submitted by 7 freelance designers.
I am looking for an extended profile twitter background that tells a story (graphically, in words, visually) of a driven and relentless entrepreneur who has overcome a lot in his life to be fortunate enough to achieve great things.
I am looking for the background to be clean, sleek, tell a story and exude my personal ethos, which is “Stop at Nothing. Achieve Everything”. I can also get the original logo of this
I am ramping up my branding in terms of blogging, consulting, speaking and a book deal
I am also more than open to implementing other pictures, graphs, unique artwork, etc. All pictures of me are on my personal website, which I am happy to forward larger versions to you if need be. Just let me know…. I wasn’t able to upload all of them.
But, I have uploaded a few here, and I also have a flickr account here from New York Entrepreneur Week: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nyew
I also have more pictures here: http://www.garywhitehill.com/garys-…-pictures/
Quotes can be found here: http://www.garywhitehill.com/garys-…-inspired/
A bit more about my story is here: http://www.garywhitehill.com/garys-story/
AN interview that provides more detail: http://bit.ly/aGeX0c
A few videos below to give you context as well:

Once again, more than anything - this is meant to articulate a story and a journey.
The main target audience are angel investors, venture capitalists, startups, small business owners (potential consulting clients), and entrepreneurs around the world.
Secondary viewers of this are prospective Boards of Directors who may want me to help guide their company, government officials and those who are simply curious about entrepreneurship in general.
Idea #1: Have pictures/logos in the twitter background and unique art that connects them together with scribbles or something that shows a driven connection – something like “Back of the Napkin” by Dan Roam (it’s a book)
Idea #2: Having random pieces of my experiences (pics, logos, etc) all separate and then somehow coming together to develop a unique platform
In terms of the background, I am keen on integrating (but not married to):
- pictures of myself through the years, quotes from my website, keywords
- An “as featured in section” - logos of some of the places I have been featured, found here: http://www.garywhitehill.com/media/ ( The ones that are important are – NBC NY Nightly News, Crain’s, Young Upstarts, AOL Small Business, AllBusiness, YoungEntrepreneur and BostInnovation. Two logos that are the most important, but not present are INC Magazine and Harvard Business Review)
Possibly integrating the logos of New York Entrepreneur Week, The Relentless Foundation and Whitehill International, three companies which I have founded. I also have two other projects on here being branded now (logos) so there’s a chance I would want those logos on there too.
With regard to getting more context so your creative juices start flowing – my gift in life is helping to build platforms that catapult others……New York Entrepreneur Week is a perfect example of me taking all the disparate pieces of the puzzle, creating a platform and leveraging that platform. I have attached my resume for further detail on that front and which will hopefully give you some additional insight.
Also attached is an excerpt from an essay answer which should also provide more context as to who I am as well as a document on how I view the world.
