Renegade got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
Need tshirt designs for a tech community
Check out Renegade's T-shirt contest…
We are an online discussion forum for computer hardware, software, consumer electronics and gadgets. We also have a very active trading section for buying/selling used goods.
What's your vision?
The front needs to have a logo with some design and the rear will have the complete site name and tagline. Any variations to the above are welcome but the audience does not want a tshirt which is overloaded with graphics. It needs to find the right balance so that it can be worn to office on Friday's and also to the gym. To put it vaguely, it needs to be classy. We also want to include the QR code for the site URL somewhere on the tshirt, if possible (www.techenclave.com/index). If you are including it then please ensure that it is part of the overall look rather than an afterthought. The base color of the tshirt can be black, white, dark blue, grey. So we will need two samples on dark and light backgrounds. Please avoid gradients on the tshirt as they are hard to print. Some of the ideas that we were working on ourselves are attached for your reference. You can work on similar lines to further enhance the concept and/or you can take a completely different approach. You can also come out with a catchy play of words. Also attached is the logo file. The font used is Baby Universe.
The audience is primarily young (18 to 28 years), male, from India and ranging from college going students to post graduate working professionals.
