Elena Schak got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
The 'Parisitic' Claas: t-shirt design for Cheeky Cheeky Threads
Check out Elena Schak's T-shirt contest…
Cheeky Cheeky sells t-shirts with wearable cheeky, smart-ass and geekilarious thoughts all around the world. The website is still coming so if you go to at the moment you won't see much.
What's your vision?
We're looking for a t-shirt that features Paris Hilton looking, well, like Paris Hilton with the slogan "member of the 'Productive Class' ". The design should be ironic, so Paris could be partying, posing, puking…whatever feels right to you. The design should feature 1-3 colours, and will be on the front of the t-shirt only. The basis of this t-shirt is that the American right describes those paid over $250 000 a year as the 'productive class', e.g.: http://savecapitalism.wordpress.com/2011/02/04/the-parasitic-class-versus-the-productive-class/ Everyone else is considered lazy, unproductive, unambitious (and are even called the 'parasitic' or 'looting' class).
Our clients are generally aged between 15-50, but there's no reason why they can't be outside that age. They're passionate, socially aware and potentially geeks, hippies, hipsters, yuppies, yippies etc. They want the world to know what they think but want to put it in as simple and clever a way as possible. Chances are they'll wear these t-shirts with jeans, but if they can also wear them for more upmarket events that would be a bonus (not a necessity). Thanks for all of your entries!
