How Jennifer McDaniel started their stationery journey
Logo design for business cards and stationery that will integrate well into future website design.
Partners... a Project Management Boutique
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I want a creative yet professional design for my company's name and tag line that I can use on business cards, stationery and eventually as a logo on a website. I'm young and energetic, professional and efficient. I want my image to be projected as such on all printed materials. While I do like "girly" design elements, my target clients are predominantly male. I want to portray myself most importantly as professional but would like a design that's a little hip, a little trendy.
The name of the business is "Partners". The tag line is "...a Project Management Boutique". I don't have a set color scheme in mind. I like ocean-y colors... blues, greens. I like dark chocolate brown. But don't feel limited by those colors, though. The word "boutique" lends itself to french flair and I like that. My personal style (decorating-wise) is a mix of modern and traditional. I like things clean and not too cluttered. But again... really, I'm just interested to see different designer's takes on what my logo could look like.
No red-white-and-blue. Nothing that could be tied to political themes or parties. No pink. No TOTALLY feminine designs. I am a woman but my clients will predominantly be men. No TOTALLY fancy fonts that are hard to read. The tag line shouldn't be as big as "Partners" but not so small that it's completely secondary. No over-the-top "busy" designs.
