I am a New York Times best selling who has written, co-written or ghostwritten an astonishing 80 books. Five works have been optioned for film or TV, by Steven Soderbergh/Paramount, HBO, Disney, and others, and a novel I wrote became an ABC Sunday night Disney movie of the week. One novel I ghostwrote for a client reached the #2 position on the national Barnes & Noble.com website…trailing only a work by President Obama.
I write books for people who don't have time to write themselves. I can work with anyone no matter how busy they are. Typically I will talk to a client for one hour and write a chapter based on that conversation. After a number of conversations, we have a book.
My books have received outstanding reviews in The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the New Yorker, People Magazine, the Washington Post, the San Francisco Examiner, Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, the Boston Globe, Esquire, and Booklist, and other publications.
The desired audience is A-level celebrities, sports figures, and entrepreneurs who can afford to hire me and have a message to sell.
I would like the business card to be a fold-over (vertical fold) so it looks like a book. I have some copy that needs to appear in specific places:
On the front cover:
You've been seen everywhere. Now it's time to be heard.
Back cover: "To my coauthor, Michael Levin. You've been the consummate teammate through the whole process of writing this book. You've been great to work with from the very first outline and title selection. From the beginning your love and knowledge of the game shone through, hence our ideas flourished and our exchange of ideas was always lively. I'd say my 2006 first-round draft pick for a coauthor was an extremely successful one."
Dave Winfield, Baseball Hall of Fame
On the inside of the business card (when you open it), I have a lot of copy so it needs to look attractive despite the wordiness. The mission is to make it look appealing and completely avoid widows, orphans, and hyphens. Also, please do not separate first and last name of clients on different lines.
The inside copy is attached here.
Also, please make the box of contact info. subtle and discrete and place on right hand side.
