Create a trade show banner for Mission Imperative

We are a not-for-profit ministry. Our main activities are public speaking (seminars) on origins related issues, and the production of DVDs that communicate the same message.

We need a 5ft. X 3ft. banner to be used in trade shows as a backdrop for our booth display. We have medium grey curtains that we use as our main backdrop. So, we wanted the edges of our banner to be a similar grey, but then interrupted by plant life or some images from nature, with our logo in the middle over black. I have attached a rough idea that I drew in Publisher as a start. As you can see, I didn't cover all of the black edges. I have no way of adding actual photo images with the see-through background to make it realisitc-looking. I have in mind plants appearing as though from WITHIN the banner and flowing toward the edge, rather than FROM the edge of the banner. I hope this makes sense. In my image, there is a chameleon. It's not necessary - it's just an idea although I like chameleons and have bought that image already. I've also attached our actual logo. But, I like the border around the word "Imperative".

This must be eye-catching to people passing by our booth. We don't want it looking cartoon-ey. We need a bright, cheerfukl design with photo images that create a jungle or safari-like image.
