Anwaukoni got their new product packaging by running a design contest:
Design the look and packaging for OUTFIT Cards

We sell gift cards for the female demograhic.
What's your vision?
We need you to develop a look for the gift cards and the enclosure they will be placed in. This gives you freedom to choose font selection, color, font orientation / rotation, background color, rule lines, and logo design. The dimensions of the gift card are the standard dimensions for credit cards- 85.60mm x 53.98mm Front of gift card: In this section, there should be included the name of the organization, value of card, and 16-digit long card number. Back of Card: In this section, there should be included QR code, the website address (www.outfitcards.com), and smaller version of organization name. Card enclosure: This should be similar to the front of the card (no card value or 16-digit long number) but it will include the names of stores where the gift cards can be purchased and redeemed. The way the stores are written on the enclosure should fit seamlessly with the rest of the design. I would like to see designs for the card, enclosure, and card in the enclosure. I will need JPEG, PNG, and PSD file types on completion of work. Along with a 3d format of the enclosure, I would also like a 2d version along with indication of where the fold lines are located. Update 1: It's been brought to my attention that I need to give more direction regarding the design. Outfit cards is a company that makes gift cards for the female demographic. The gift cards will be able to be redeemed and purchased in boutique fashion stores and spas. The clientele for these stores are high-end, classy but vibrant women. With that in mind, what I envision for this card is a lot of color included in an elegant manner. The card should be lively and vibrant, but scream class. This should be a focus throughout the design process a la enclosure, background logo etc. In addition, although the card has a lot of color, the logo (name: Outfit) should be of a uniform color and should mesh well will the rest of the card. Icons in the logo are ok, but the name and icon should not be exclusive. The name is the icon, the icon is the name. Please don't hesitate to ask further questions, and I'll try to answer them to the best of my abilities.
It's come to my attention that I should specify that I don't have a stock logo for this. So I'm giving designers creative freedom to make the logo. My inclinations I should just have a designed version of the word "Outfit" as the logo. But if you have an illustration that you think fits perfectly fits the context then please feel free to include this. The enclosure you're designing for is a simple credit card sleeve. I've attached some pictures which you can refer to.
