We are a publisher, working on bringing a great out-of-print title back into print. This true story is a memoir of a Swedish soldier of fortune who joined the Mexican Revolution, and was transformed by his relationship with his Yaqui and Tarahumara indian scouts. Core graphic metaphor is the indigenous fighters; other metaphors are of the revolution, and another, the Mexican national colors, Green, Red and White. See the attachment!
Mexican Revolutionary history buffs; also, soldier-of-fortune fanatics; anybody who likes a great adventure story.
Just looking for a clean, modern version of the original book design, attached. We're open to all ideas, but expect that the winning design will just be a cleaned up version of the attached. Keep the red-green background, mask out the indian figures, and then do your magic on those figures. Title font work not critical for what we're looking for.
The finish format will for 6"X9" cover. The winning work will be adapted to include a back-cover and spline. Contact if you have questions: mgodeck@gmail.com
