BJSF got their new postcard, flyer or print by running a design contest:
Create an awesome sales sheet for San Francisco's hottest music startup, Feed.fm!
Check out BJSF's Postcard, flyer or print contest…
Feed.fm is a new way to engage, retain and monetize your mobile customers. We're a B2B2C music company. Our core product is a white-label internet radio player that goes into 3rd party brands' apps and mobile sites. Our in-house music experts curate custom stations for your audience, interspersed with promotions and calls- to-action for your brand, which work together to drive increased engagement and revenue.
What's your vision?
Can you create an awesome sales sheet for us? Objective of the sales sheet is to have a very simple pdf that helps people understand what we do and why they should care. Basically, a pre cursor to a full blown deck. Should also work as print collateral, should we need it. FYI - we're talking to senior digital executives in fashion/retail companies. That should inform your "tone." The "look" should be somewhat in line with our new style guide (see attached screenshots of our new site, currently being designed) — modern, clean, simple. Color palette (see attached website screenshots as well): Red - #b91114 Teal - #059696 Dark blue (used as a BG) - #263034 Font is attached. (avenir.ttc.zip) The content for the sales sheet is in a word doc that's been uploaded. Feel free to replace the iphone wrapper with one you prefer. The screenshot for the phone is uploaded as a .png file, as well.
We need to be able to distribute this doc early in our sales/marketing cycles and have potential clients understand what we're offering to partners. There's a screenshot from current mobile app implementation we have live (American Eagle Outfitters radio), as well as a deck (current_retail_deck.pdf) we typically offer much later in the sales cycle, once we've had a little back-and-forth with a potential buyer. I'll also attach screenshots of our new website (currently being designed), so you can get a flavor for where our style guidelines are headed. You can include logos for our current customers and partners, or not. Logos will not be uploaded here, but you're welcome to do a google image search for more current or differently formatted logos that might work better for your layout. Customers and partners can be found on the "Customers" page of the new website, uploaded here. There's a sample one sheet from another music company, for your reference. None of the copy or design is meant to be mimicked or reproduced. It's just to give you an idea of what a one sheet is, in case you're not familiar. :)
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Postcard, flyer or print starts at HK$1,599.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
