The current job position is a Dispatcher the dispatcher in our organization must be a LEADER & have LEADERSHIP SKILLS at one point we had this position as a manager, but everyone wants to be a manager & few want to step up & be a LEADER. Firehouse Movers has an open position as a Dispatcher but MUST BE A LEADER not a manager! The position has a wide variety of duties & responsibilities. The position has opportunities to grow and advance within the company. Ideal Individual for Dispatching job role includes: • Displays Integrity, Pride, strives for Excellence, Honors others • Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment • Organized with strong time management skills • Personable with excellent verbal and written communication skills • Able to work independently and as part of a team Dispatch job Duties Include, but not limited to: • Developing positive interaction with crews and office staff • Dispatching trucks according to policies, processes, customer requests, specifications or needs • Act as liaison with customers to ensure customer satisfaction • Facilitate timely and efficient completion of all services • Relay Shipment orders, messages, and information to operation departments • Address questions, problems and requests for service or equipment • Adhere to maintenance and safety programs • Confirming Moves • Computer data entry and daily reporting • Policy enforcements and documentation • Driving will be required – will learn to Pull gooseneck trailer & drive 24ft box truck • Forklift operations Knowledge of: • Knowledge of moving operations & materials • assembly and disassembly of furniture – IF NEEDED Moving (at times as needed) • Video estimates through software Assist in as needed: • Warehouse • Employee training & onboarding • Trailer & vehicle maintenance & repairs • Moving concierge in booking moves • Any other duties, projects, or jobs that may come up throughout the day, week, month, or year that management or crews need assistance with.
