TowTrax got their new app design by running a design contest:
Work with us to design the most innovative roadside assistance app
Check out TowTrax's App design contest…
Our roadside assistance platform consisting of 3 apps (consumer/tow truck driver/dispatch dashboard) allows consumers and dispatchers to locate the closest tow truck to the consumer that is in need of roadside assistance.
Simple layout, crisp clean lines
Towtrax (consumer app), TowTraxTrux (trucker app)
Main Workflow: 1. Consumer logs into consumer app and sees his location on map and surrounding tow trucks availble suitable to do the job 2. Consumer clicks on request a truck and inputs pick up and drop off location desired 3. Tow driver recives a push notificatoin and alert in his app notifying him that he has a new job. (new job details consist of pick up/drop off location, distance to consumer, and distance of job) 4. When the tow driver gets within .2 miles of the consumer, he can click on "arrived", "hooked", "start driving" 5. ONce the tow truck starts driving with the consumer's car in tow, both the trucker and consumer app can see the vehicles moving on the map. 6. At drop off destination trucker will hit "stop driving" and this will instantiate a payment workflow from the trucker to the consumer 7. Total time, distance and charges for the job will be displayed on both the trucker and consumer app, consumer will hit a "send payment" button on his side and trucker will hit a "payment received" acknowledgement once the funds have been confirmed through stripe api 8. There is a dashboard that tow dispatchers will use to track all the information on the job back at the tow operator's office Screen 1 - consumer and truck driver launch/log in page * would like to see a clean graphic/gif with towtrax logo splash on screen while app is loading and logging in Screen 3 - consumer and truck driver map page * consumer - logs into app and see his car on the map with multiple tow trucks surround him within x square miles Screen 4 - Dispatch dashboard map - Main page of the dashboard consist of a map with all tow trucks that the company owns, color coded by job status (accepted, arrived, hooked, driving, completed, paid). There is a job detail column on the page that shows all active job and linkable to a details page for each job. Radio buttons on the top of the page allows users to instantiate actions such as create a new job, view all jobs, view archived jobs, modify fleet details, input motor club pricing information, modify pricing for hook up and mileage per truck type, etc.
