Simon201189 got their new app design by running a design contest:
Create professional, fun and engaging app screens for A2C Services 'dutch style' auction app
Check out Simon201189's App design contest…
The app allows for invited users to participate in dutch style auctions for stock we offer on the auction app.
The style needs to be professional but fun. We want the users to feel very engaged but at the same time not using a toy app. Some sort of gamification feel for business users. The colours ideally need to reflect our company colour/logo theme. I have shown these within the slide show with idea I have attached to this brief.
A2C eAuction (this is still in decision stage and could change)
This is roughly outlined in the slides attached to this brief. We have opted for 5 screens to be designed in order to get a broad feel for the whole app and how users will experience going through each section. The screens needed for design purposes are. Opening screen showing current offer - this needs to be nice and clean and prominent showing what auction is currently running with the latest price and brief title. Pressing on the offer will bring up full spec screen. Full specification screen - this will give full details of the stock on auction as well as price, next price change and options to either wathc or buy. Up coming offers - this should list all up coming offers that will be running after the current one. Each will show a picture of the offer and a brief description. If clicked on full specs should be shown. Users can opt to get an alert for up coming auctions they are interested in. Watching screen- gives user the ability to watch and also to add a price that they would be willing to engage in if so want to opt for this. An admin page - easy to use page where user can add thier details and also get notificiations of anything they are watching or looking to get and alert for upcoming auctions.
What to avoid
We need the design to work across multiple device types as the user we engage with are not restricted to a single device type.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. App design starts at HK$4,899.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their app design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Simon201189 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
PixelPrime was a very professional in the approach to design and service to the customer. The design ideas were good and was very open to making changes in line with the way we wanted the app to work as well as communicating very responsively.
Would recommend PixelPrime to others looking for app design concepts.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
