About Us Open Assembly co-creates the future of work with organizations, platforms, and people by providing content, community, and strategic advising services. We leverage research and insights from our academic partner, the Laboratory of Innovation Sciences at Harvard, (LISH), to inform and inspire new ways of working using open strategies. https://www.open-assembly.com/ Project Goal How-to service and inspiration to encourage global interest and participation in crowdsourcing. Making crowdsourcing feel accessible. Creating connection between crowdsourcing platforms and organizations wanting to crowdsource. Audience Business leaders; Fortune 500-1000 executives to individual managers at companies and individual small companies. Brand Look and Feel Clean Trusted Professional, approachable, inspiring, modern, connected (as in we are all digitally connected through the gig economy) Our logo is attached (we always use it in black and white)
What's your vision?
Cover: We would like the cover composition of our report to represent the human cloud, but not be cartoonish (you'll see an example of placeholder clip art in our attachment, and that is too cartoonish). We’d like it to be sleek, sophisticated, global, yet accessible. The human cloud is the group of workers from the “gig economy” that live all over the world and are accessible through digital connection. Some ideas are to include the organizations that crowdsource, the cloud, the earth/globe, and the people in the gig economy. We are open to other concepts that represent connection within the human cloud/gig economy, crowdsourcing, and organizations. We need a single-page format, 8.5” x 11” designed in magazine-style. Delivery: Design to be delivered in In Design and ability to transfer design document to us. Final product will be a downloadable PDF.
Here are the elements that need to be on the cover. Please see attachments for color palette and templates and company logos: Masthead: OAQ (Open Assembly Quarterly) Tagline: Co-creating the future of work. Issue: Fall 2018 Cover line: State of Crowdsourcing Report Logos: OA [include logo] In partnership with Topcoder [include logo] We've given a lot of instruction, but would love to see your unique vision! We are open to an illustration, photo montage, one simple image, etc. We plan to repeat elements from the cover throughout the inside pages.
