What to Say / How to Say It / Whom to Tell [AND] no slogan
Marketing & Communications / Strategy & Execution - At our core, we build narrative identities for our clients and establish their position in the market. We partner with our clients to delver lop strategic messaging and positioning through an interactive process, always focussing on how to differentiate them from competitors or perceived competitors. This makes us great for start ups, new products and services, as well as recreating or shifting an established brand position in the market. The right design firm for our logo should think about helping us pitch visual identity services just like this project brief to go along with the narrative identity that we offer using words. Our business acumen and recognized experience in both consumer and enterprise businesses make us the ideal firm to synthesize both the visual and narrative components of a company or product identity. Once we establish "What to Say / How to Say It / Whom to Tell", we like to translate that into results oriented execution. From identifying biz dev targets, to creating an industry or analyst relations plan, or writing a targeted marketing plan for multiple channels and constituencies, we lead both internal and external teams as well as individual consultants to turn concepts and strategy into results. Our target audience is B2B tech companies, consumer & B2B food tech companies, food and artisan product manufacturing companies and lifestyle companies. **NOTE** There is no option in the industry vertical selection for this project brief for either marketing or content production. We do both of these, and they are a significant component of our service offering. For this brief, we have chosen "Communications" for our industry category.
Other color requirements
orange; blue; yellow; green - in that order - We are happy with the bold colors on our existing logo, but we want to look at other options, and have more than one final version for the various Agilis branded Web and published content we want to create.
We are agile (hence the name agilis), meaning we can work in lots of vertical markets from tech and enterprise, to food, to lifestyle, health care and nutrition. We often find our clients want business consulting services in addition to marketing and communications - how to connect biz dev goals to marketing activities; or identify specific groups or individuals that are strategically important to their business goals; or how to hire and train new staff; or what kind of strategic partnerships could be useful. We like the Springbok in our current logo, but we are not 100% committed to it. What we like most is the concept of agility and elegance, but the Springbok might lack an association with the depth of experience, and intelligence we bring to our work. We have business contacts all over the world from a decade of working in Europe and Asia with California as our base. Our significant global business experience means we can analyze markets and how to access and promote our clients to a variety of demographic groups.
The main thing our Website must do is convey a professional, established agency that provides marketing and communications services, as well as content development. These include strategic messaging and positioning; content production and editorial management; industry and influencer relations. Note that we like the bold colors that are included in the existing Agilis logos we uploaded. However, we don't want a Web presence that is ostentatious or has too much swagger. We want to convey our depth of resources and experience by creating a journey that walks visitors through the breadth of industries and business models where we have expertise. ------------------------------------------------------------------- - What to Say / How to Say It / Whom to Tell - These three concepts comprise a client's narrative identity and target audiences. They also fold together nicely with strategic messaging / content and editorial / industry and consumer outreach - which are basically the services we offer. If there is a way to connect the services we offer with the concepts of narrative identity in the way that a visitor experiences our site, that would be awesome! We have thought about a set of icons that delineate our various services using our Springbok image from the existing logo files: strategy, editorial, industry. If the Springbok goes away, we would still like to use a set of visual icons as tags to associate various services with concepts or ideas. While these would not be a deliverable associated with the project brief, the winning design team should know that this will be the next project we do. We have used and like the Springbok in a watermark format to make a generally white background with a lot of narrative look more interesting. We like side bars for things like testimonials; interesting and relevant contextual links - either our site or other sites; news feeds of links from sites we like. We want to connect to LinkedIn and Facebook to start, Pinterest soon, and perhaps Twitter eventually. You can see our current public Web site at www.agilis-communications.com. It's boring and way to narrative. We have a lot of photographs and graphics to create thumbnails that link to samples of our work, or build a portfolio page. And we have a working new site hiding in plane view at http://newsite.agilis-communications.com.
Jimdo templates to explore
HOMEPAGE - Agilis logo and nav at the top. Like the idea of large images in a slider - a mix of photos, graphics, thumbnails of video or case studies. Three boxes or icons in the middle that link to our SERVICES PAGE. News, blog and social media feeds at the bottom or in an offset side bar half way down the page. SERVCIES PAGE: Three columns of content for 1. What to Say / Strategic Messaging 2. How to Say It / Content & Editorial 3. Whom to Tell / Industry and Influencer Relations. Definitely want a side bar with testimonials, as well as news feeds, links to our blogs, social media feeds. CONTENT SAMPLES/PORTFOLIO: We have a portfolio of business related content that should showcase our work laid out in a grid of 9 images, with a link to a case study page or PDF of each. A BLOG TEMPLATE- should work for either curated or our own experiences and opinion. It should have links as well as the ability to include snippets or editorial opinion about the articles that we post. It should allow for visual elements. PHOTO PORTFOLIO FOR DOWNLOAD: Would like to offer access to select photos that others can use by simply registering with Creative Commons - no sales or subscription needed at this time. This could simply be a grid that is categorized by a variety of menu options - food, locations, travel, any number of searchable tags we could add to each image. **NOTE** This page does not have to be ready at launch.
