Intellefi
Financial planning software which empowers individuals to make smart money moves through quick easy steps, visualization of options and simple explanations. Target demographic are professionals between ages 30-45 of all genders (skewing towards women) that have recently accumulated enough money to invest but don’t know where to invest and don’t have the time to learn.
The logo is friendly and inviting, which takes the intimidation out of finance. It feels modern and youthful to resonate with the target demographic. It should imply upwards financial growth through movement of text or image mark. Clean lines to convey professionalism and trust. Symmetry to give the sense of balance and control. The wordmark is unique enough to stand on its own but the image mark should be strong enough to symbolize the wordmark in the future. The ideal word and image mark lock-up would be proportionally balanced in a square tile.
Examples of the gold standard logo design for me would be This American Life, Chanel and National Geographic because the word mark and image mark are both strong on their own but the image mark conveys the word mark and carries brand recognition.
