2012 WTT Champion Washington Kastles needs a new logo

The Washington Kastles are part of World TeamTennis. A league started by Billy Jean King 37 years ago. We play in Washington, DC with super stars Venus and Serena Williams playing on the team. Our season is about 2 weeks in the month of July between Wimbledon and the US Open. We provide family friendly, fun entertainment in an intimate stadium. The Washington Kastles started in 2008 and since the inception have won 3 WTT Championships (2009, 2011, and 2012).   

I've supplied pervious years champtionship logos as well as our current "circle" logo and our "sheild" logo. While we are looking for something fresh and new, the new logo should fit in with this current family of logos. PLEASE focus on the WASHINGTON KASTLES and 2012 WTT Champions. Like the NFL Super Bowl Champions or MLB World Series Champions, the logo commemorates the winning season and focuses on the team. Themes • the capitol building • the tennis silhouette (see previous years logos that I’ve provided) • our crest logo and the WTT logo • Washington Monument Other things that to take into consideration: • Emphasize 2012 WTT Champions • 16-0 or 32 Straight wins • How the logo will look on different color backgrounds (red, blue, white) • How easy it is to print, stitch, embroider • Should stick to 3 colors (red, blue, white) • Include Tennis imagery (tennis ball, the tennis silouhette, etc.) since people don’t know us, this is always good • Need to make sure it will be readable in multiple different uses o Hat, lapel pins, printed materials
