I need a logo for my law firm. I would like for it to reflect my firm as modern, no-nonsense, and forceful. I am known for "putting out fires" for other lawyers. I am a "lawyer's lawyer." In otherwords, other lawyers come to me when they need help on their big cases. I have a solo practice, but I am planning on expanding in the near future.
Willi Law Firm
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I have been in practice since 1992. In business, I go by Tracy J. Willi. Willi is a common swiss name. My husband, James N. Willi, is a lawyer with another law firm, but ultimately we will probably work together (maybe 10- 15 years from now). My husband is also a 4th generation Texan. We are both University of Texas grads. He does Intellectual Property Law -- specifically patent infringment litigation. I have a more general practice for civil litigation cases -- personal injury, contract, real estate, probate, copyright, trademark. I prefer appellate cases and I am board certified in civil appellate law. I will be submitting a contest for a webpage after I have a logo.
I would be using the logo on business cards, letterhead, website and perhaps on the outside of a building. I would like to have color -- open to ideas.
I don't like frilly. I don't like the traditional "old firm" look of heavy, dark wood and marble. While I like an updated look, I also don't want it to be too trendy. It needs to be somewhat conservative to attract larger corporate clients.
