We are an established studio that's growing. We've been home-office based for seven years, but now we're moving into an actual studio space! We're changing the name of the business and need a new logo for our new brand.
We need a vector format logo for use on our website, business cards ... everything.
My photography style is very natural, meaning that I strive to capture natural images of people that illustrate, communicate, embody who that person is or what's happening in a moment. As opposed to highly posed, staged, and artificially lit portraits and wedding photography. Think natural, genuine, honest, beautiful. Check out http://www.davewatkinsphotography.com
Currently we're known as Dave Watkins Photography, but we're changing the name to Narella and rebranding completely. The name Narella will be something of an umbrella for our wedding, family portrait, and senior portrait sub-brands. We need to be able to add those names to the logo to individualize the Narella logo for each of the sub-brands. So "Narella | Weddings" or "Narella | Families" etc. I hope that makes sense.
We're trying to appeal to mid- to up-scale clients, so think Banana Republic, not Target, but also not Versace.
This may be a bit too abstract, but I want the logo, and especially the word "Narella" to have a subtle sense of flow to it, kind of the way the word rolls off your tongue and is very easy to say.
- The words "Narella" and "studio" but with studio much smaller. Narella should dominate the design.- Need versions for both light and dark backgrounds.- Natural and artful feeling- simple, simple, simple!- stick to neutral colors - black, gray, white, or brown shades- Please keep the background either white or black- double-super bonus points to highly adaptable designs - meaning can be adapted to different orientations or shapes if needed.- I want the logo, and especially the word "Narella" to have a subtle sense of flow to it
- Absolutely no cheesy clipart, such as a camera shutter- no wacky graphics- no wacky colors- No wacky fonts - keep the font simple- Avoid using the letter "N" as a separate graphical element
