A terrific, professional, responsive designer with wonderful instincts and a great sense of customer service. Plus, a lot of fun to work with. I plan to work with this designer again and again.
How Dana F started their logo design journey
Need a logo to be used in various mediums: website, stationery, signage, etc.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Our client has recently changed their name from Kingwood Landscaping to Warren's Southern Gardens. First, we need a logo design that will then be used in developing a fully functional website. There is another garden center in the area, http://www.kingwoodgardencenter.com, the logo/color scheme should be very different from that of this business.
Warren's Southern Gardens is a beautiful nursery with recently added barnwood additions for an added Southern-style charm. The logo will be used in a variety of mediums, to include signage, business stationery, advertisements, website, etc.
In choosing words to describe the logo they're looking for, they used "sassy", with emphasis on "Warren's", perhaps being in cursive, but definitely set apart from Southern Gardens. Perhaps a flower could be incorporated into the logo. Should conjure imagery of Southern Gardens Magazine, the South, and outside wonder. They want to see several very different designs and color choices, not 20 of slightly varied logos. They are not a big box store and want nothing that would lend itself to that type of imagery
- Logo that has attitude and yet looks good in black/white, as well as whatever color pallet is selected
- anything too flowery, not looking for green color
