Update Existing Logo for Classified Ad Site - $100

I would like someone to improve upon an existing logo that will be used in a community classified ad and auction site I am planning to open soon in my hometown. I like the existing logo for its simplicity but something is lacking. I would like someone to try to "polish it up" a bit. I am not looking for a major redraw!

Accepted File Formats: .ai, (hi-res for printing) and web format FreeAdsVictoria.com is a soon to be opened local (Canadian city) classified ad and auction site. I would like to portray a light-hearted, friendly, community feel with the redone logo. As I mentioned earlier, I like the logo in principle but there is something still missing. I would like it to appear a little less "serious". Is it mainly color? Is it the font? Perhaps the yellow sticky note needs to be cleaned up or modified? I will let your imagination take over from here... Please ensure the logo remains easy to modify to accomodate a different city name as I may reuse it in the future on a similar site ( ex. FreeAdsOTHERCITY.com) and it would be nice to maintain a consistent look. This logo will be used on printed signs during an initial promo campaign so I would like the logo to remain recognizeable/readable from a distance. Please keep the logo clean looking. As for colors, I prefer blues, greens and yellows. Maybe it will take some other color to liven things up however? I will expect all rights to the modified logo to be transferred upon payment.
