paul.whittock got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Unique environmental services logo for artificial light monitoring
Check out paul.whittock's Logo design contest…
We provide artificial light monitoring services to understand impact to wildlife/human health for industry/resource/local government sector in Australia
This logo should be consistent with colours and font of existing Pendoley Environmental company logo (see attached company logo). I also like the circle styling. We use a special camera that records images of artificial light produced by industry (for context see our website: http://penv.com.au/services/artificial-light-monitoring). The camera takes images of the entire night sky and horizon including stars using a fish eye lens. The logo we have developed so far (see attached) includes the appearance of glow from a development. We like the use of southern cross star constellation to identify where we operate.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
