How Jalisco Imports Inc started their logo design journey
Jalisco Imports Inc
We are an importer of dried goods such as dried chili peppers, corn husks, tamarind, habiscus flowers, snacks and candies, spices and herbs. 80% of my market is wholesale to grocery stores and other vendors. 20% of my market are local retail customers.
I am looking for something upscale ethnic. Not something cheesy with a sombrero but something that comes across as professional. Im open to mascots or other ideas, just remember I do not do produce. Something that may remind you of back home in Mexico or the old country. Nostalgic for goods from back home.
Our company colors are dark and rich like burgandys, mustard and browns. Even though the name of our company is named after the state in Mexico my family is from, we do not just import from that state. In fact we sell local goods, from Mexico, Canada, China and now Peru.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My target audience is @ 90% Hispanic but I am looking to expand to other markets soon. Your everyday housewife looking for items to make dinner with.
I am looking for an eye catching logo to complete with others in the ethnic supermarket eisle. Something clean and simple that can be mass printed on labels, stationary and uploaded on a website.
Our brand name is the name of our corporation, but I am open to a catchy name for our products.
