This is a female-owned business, very laid back - we want to take the stress out of managing the business end of running your business.

I really need a balance of laid back, yet professional.
Something that says, you can count on us, we know our stuff, but we are not suit-and-tie people. Not too fun, kitschy, but still chill, laid back. That's our mascot-dog, Foxy. We're the kind of office that has a dog in the office, every day.

We love the beach - our office is decorated in beach theme and Carolina blue. That being said, I don't want a logo that is too casual. It's a real challenge - tax advisors/accountants/bookkeepers tend to be a stuffy, formal lot and we aren't, but we still want to convey professionalism and that we know our sh*t; not too light, not kiddie, but still playful ... if that's possible.

Would be open to beach themed graphics, if applicable: Adirondack chair, palm tree, shell, umbrella, etc. Again, not too casual, but if it works, great ...

What I really love about those is how they were able to incorporate related icons into the business name.

Coffee & Cocktails with MC has a coffee cup and a martini glass incorporated into the logo.

Turnkey Title has a key and a house incorporated into it's logo.

I'm not married to that concept - I want to see creativity in the submissions - but I'd like to see at least an attempt at this style. Something that perhaps incorporates a beach-themed icon or a tax/accounting/bookkeeping icon ... if it works? Maybe?

I hope this is good direction.
