The Tapping Bracelet is a simple vibrating bracelet that can be triggered by a small keychain sized remote. This product should appeal to adult female consumers for use by children with hearing impairment, autism, ADHD and other medical conditions.
The logo should be informative in its design, but present a friendly, distinctive brand identity. Ideally the logo will be beautiful in full color (print, web, letterhead, etc) but also clear in a monochrome medium, such as embossed on the inner ridge of the silicone bracelet, or other future bracelet molds.
If your child cannot hear, you use sign language to communicate.
But if they are out playing with friends, you don't have eye contact in order to use sign language.
You can't call out their name to get their attention. You have to physically chase them down and tap them on the shoulder.
With the Tapping Bracelet, the parent can simply press a button on a tiny keychain sized remote and it will send a silent vibration to the bracelet, 'tapping' the child on the wrist, letting them know to turn around and look at mom or dad.
The bracelet can be used by children with Autism and even ADHD as a silent way to 'redirect' behavior without singling them out or making them feel different.
We have invented this simple device for a niche that is terribly underserved by technology. Further, when technology does emerge, it is usually extremely expensive. We aim to create simple, useful and affordable products to improve the every day lives of those with disabilities.
