Patty was incredible to work with. She created a beautiful and very unique logo for us that was exactly what we were looking for. She was always readily available to make any changes or adjustments that we requested. We would definitely use her again for future projects and we highly recommend her!

Who are you known as?
Goat Island Oyster Company
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Goat Island Oyster Company is a small New Hampshire oyster farm that is locally owned and operated in a small, quaint, historic, New England town. Our target audiences are local restaurants and shellfish/seafood distributors that share the same “support local business” mentality as we do. Additional audiences will be local farmers markets and oyster festivals throughout the summer months.
The New Hampshire oyster industry is a small tight knit community and we are striving to make a name for ourselves within the industry. Our oysters are grown in the chilled waters of the beautiful Great Bay estuary where the Piscataqua River connects to the Atlantic Ocean.
Oysters are filter feeders improving water quality, making it possible for plants, organisms and wildlife to thrive so the environmental issues involved are very important to us.

Logo types to explore

We're thinking we do not want a close up of a goat head as part of the logo so it doesn't look corny. If it's abstract it may be okay. Same thing goes for an oyster, abstract over textbook would be better. When we were checking out fonts, we liked Caslon Antique and Broadsheet because they have an antique New England print but they may be overkill. Just a thought and totally up to you. If you google Portsmouth NH you can get a good idea of where we our is located which may help define our company a little bit. Thanks so much for your help.
