S.K.I.N. needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 53 designs submitted by 20 freelance designers.
S.K.I.N. is a non-profit charity that provides acne medicines, cleansers and dermatological medical care to teens living in group homes/foster care in Los Angeles. It will reach 2000 teens through product/medicine delivery, lectures and "hip" pamphlets geared towards teens.
Skincare for Kids In Need S.K.I.N.
We need a logo that is hip, yet professional. The organization is under the auspices of a medical practice at UCLA. The organization is the brainchild of a teen who will be running it. Even though the title says" kids", it is really for teens 12-18years old. We will be providing anything skin related that will help promote their self-estemm for kids in very difficult situations.
Design must include the name Skincare for Kids In Need and the initials S.K.I.N. The intial abbreviation should be more prominent and the actual name a little smaller. We would like to incorporate the color teal because the medical practice involved uses teal in it's letterhead. Use1-3 colors Not too many colors. Simple and classy while trying to convey a teen (and not kid) feel.
not too busy otherwise open to anything.
