Yellena is a very creative and organized designer. She clearly spent the time to consider all information in the design brief and thought about all of the spaces and applications in which our logo would display and designed something that's functional, attractive and fun!
She was very responsive to feedback and kept in touch consistently throughout the contest. I would definitely work with her again! Thank you!
How StephanieCA started their logo design journey
I am a workaholic, left-brained finance professional looking to change my life and make my hobby my new career. I am launching a pilates studio in Southern California that will focus on group pilates reformer (equipment) classes. I want to make the pilates experience (with the use of equipment) more accessible to people as the experience has been so positive for me. I want my studio to feel accessible, stylish, modern and serene. It will also be a place where clients will get an intense workout.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I will target moderately fit-to-fit women with the means to spend approximately $20 per 50 minute class. Many may be trying pilates (using equipment) for the first time. Others will be pilates die hards. All will pursue pilates in order to strengthen and lengthen their muscles and develop a sleek, lean look.
The logo will be used on a large outdoor sign over the door of the studio as well as on the website, marketing materials (e.g., direct mail postcards), and accessories (e.g., socks, towels and water bottles). I'd like the name to be accompanied by an icon.
I am looking for a logo to capture a modern, sleek, look. When I chose the name "lean", I had in mind a "side plank" pilates pose as well as the body type pilates devotees aspire to. I have attached a photo simply to show an example of a side plank pose.
