Mauro Jaurena was amazing to work with. From his multiple different design directions from the opening round, that led us to a direction we never would have come up with or imagined, clear through the final round where he was super responsive and extremely fast making any tweaks or changes we could think of to refine the idea. He gave extremely valuable feedback on the design perspective to what makes for a great logo and what to avoid. This was an amazing experience. We would definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a creative, responsive and friendly (not to mention extremely patient) designer. Five Stars!!

Fantastic interpretation of our brief.
Really appreciate the responsiveness to feedback, the iterations made a true difference.
Thank you for your brilliant work. The first submitted design was just what I was looking for and then you worked with me to fine tune it with excellent communication until we had a finished product. I look forward to working with you again in the future.

We want to be branded as The Busholme Public House and like the idea of having Established 2016 or Est. 2016 in the logo. In the Past (under other ownership) the restaurant has been the Busholme Inn, The Busholme Gastropub and other names focused around "The Busholme". It is a small town and the buidling given it history will always be known as The Busholme.
The Building was built in 1886. It's a Victorian home originally built as a hospital. It is located in a small town (Erin Ontario, Canada) Originally Settled by Irish and Scottish Immigrants. The history of the town mainly based around fabrication Mills, Grist Mills, wood planing mills, woolen mills etc.
The Busholme has also been an Inn and a hospice in it's earlier days. It was converted into a restaurant in the 1960's. There is a "rough" history associated with the location. You still hear stories of the fights, tables being bolted to the floor, live music etc.
We have only been open since March of 2016 and have definitely changed the old reputation although it is still part of our history. All meals are fresh made in house. We host a wide variety of live music and event every weekend and often throughout the week. The idea is to be a pub with a bit more flair. Food is 50% of our sales as are beverages.
We are still using the old sign from previous owners. Its incredibly dated. 30% + of our business is from traffic driving by as it is on a busy main street. New branding / signage could really help increase that number. Nothing too busy. History / Heritage is important. Not to keen on the idea of having actual photos of the building in the logo. Sketches, renderings etc. of the building are good. We like the idea of a circular logo / badge (doesn't have to be though).
We always hear from customers that they had no idea there are new owners. We need people to know its new and things are different / better. We are a young family run business. Thanks for the interest!
