Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a toy company. We mostly design and manufacture our own products. The Foxtail is a bit of an exception in that it is a 25 years old brand which we acquired the rights to. We are reinvigorating the brand and reintroducing the products to the retail and online market after they had been discontinued for the past 10 years.
It has sold millions of units in its lifetime and retains a nostalgic following.
The original version of the Foxtail is a brown leather baseball with a long nylon tail. There are 3 other versions which use either a foam ball or a rubber ball. The Foxtail is a classic "throw and catch" toy. You spin the ball around by the tail and release to throw. Your partner catches the ball by the tail and then spins to throw it back.
UPDATE: After a number of the submissions have included fox iconography, we've decided that though beautiful, it is not right for the brand. So please refrain from including a fox in the design.

Fun mix of retro and modern.
Sleek cool look, but still bright colors. We are selling this brand into the toy store market, as well as the sporting goods market.
This toy is seeing lots of success in the US. Like the foxtail, it came out in the 80s then disappeared. A new person redesigned the brand and brought it back.
This logo will be used on the packaging for the entire line, and we hope to find a designer with whom we can continue to work with developing the brand and retail packaging after this contest.
