Chasing After Penguins
I am a teacher starting a company focusing on application development for smart phones. The first application I created was for a local high school to help the educational community be more connected to the school. The media attention from this application has started the flow of more schools as well as individuals who want to have applications developed for their needs and thus Chasing After Penguins was born.
The main customer base will be school districts and small businesses wanting to get their foot into the smart phone arena. This logo will appear on the website, business cards/letter head, as well as within the applications created.
I am looking for a logo that will catch someone's attention but not be so busy it overwhelms them.
Ideally I would like to have a penguin in the logo, although I want to avoid a logo that is too childlike or cheap looking.
Since the first letters of the company name spell out CAP, a baseball cap might be something that could be incorporated as well.
I am open to the use of color, although I would like to avoid anything in the pastel area. I will also need a black and white version of the logo.
Font needs to be easy to read, no real fancy lettering.
Avoid clip art and stock photos.
Files that will be needed:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - .jpg/.png and layered .psd (RGB)
