JonQuayside needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 67 designs submitted by 24 freelance designers.
We sell plain and personalised (printed / embroidered) clothing in the UK and Europe. Our core business is B2B but we also supply a lot of B2C as well.
The task is to create a more exciting version of our logo for our new uniform. The logo will be printed/embroidered onto navy garments on the left chest (so will be around 10-12cm wide)
We require the layout of the text and font to stay the same as the current logo (high res versions below). However the font colour can be changed.
We envisage additional elements being added to the logo to make it a bit more exciting; maybe a picture/outline of a t shirt, putting the logo in a circle, something like that.
As the logo is for clothing, if you can steer away from colour gradients, or really small shapes that would be good.
I appreciate this brief is fairly restrictive, but this is what I've been instructed to do! I'm hoping we can still get some interesting designs back.
Hi res versions of our logo are available in the following zip file: http://www.quaysidegroup.com/zipfil…_logos.zip
