POP is a messaging app that lets you customize everyday conversation—because it’s 2015 and text messaging is still kinda boring. With POP, you can change the font and color of your message or send photos, videos, GIFs and music. (Download the current app and play around) http://www.popmessage.com/ Although POP launched last year, the app you see in the store today has a lot of changes coming up. The most note-worthy is the ability to send a regular text message with different fonts and colors. Currently, users have to type in the full canvas, which many people found too overwhelming for a quick “hello.” With big changes coming up, we’d also like to redo the current POP logo and app icon. Currently, the chameleon icon doesn’t represent the brand we’re aspiring to create. Target Audience: 18-25 year olds (60% Women - 40% Men)

THE POP BRAND – A QUICK OVERVIEW Promise: Customizing Everyday Communication Purpose: To inspire more colorful conversations Values: Individuality - Inspiration/Creativity - Efficiency/Speed - Self Expression Character: Fun - Casual - Beautiful - Energetic - Colorful - Personal - Natural (Fresh) Audience: 18-25 year olds (60% Women - 40% Men) LOOK + FEEL To give you more creative freedom, we won’t get too specific here. Just think about visually representing the brand character and make sure we will stand out in the iTunes App Store and on Google Play. DELIVERABLES Logo // This can be a word mark, pictorial mark, abstract mark or letter mark with the words “Pop messenger.” If you want, you can de-emphasize the word “messenger” and make “Pop” do most of the heavy lifting. The logo is what we’ll use in marketing materials such as our website, social media, email, app splash screen etc. Please consider that an element of the logo is likely to be used as the app icon. Since “Pop” is a 3-letter word, we have the opportunity to explore using the brand name within the icon. Another Note: We expect to move away from the chameleon icon and looking for totally new and fresh ideas. Get creative! ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS: POP is a fun brand and a fun product.
