Pine Ridge is a Christian church targeting all people of all backgrounds. Age is probably the biggest division, from a demographic standpoint. We don't want to offend the elderly in our congregation by distancing ourselves from tradition; however, we also want to welcome modernity and contemporary aesthetics associated with younger generations.

This should be a pretty easy logo to design, considering you're not starting from scratch here; but at the same time, feel free to interpret the four logo sketches (uploaded here as a PDF) in your own way. We don't want duplicates, or merely the sketches made digital. Use some creativity, just keep the link between one of the sketches and your logo visible. God bless.
