How Britton Black started their logo design journey
Britton Black Photography
My name is Britton Black, I am a commercial photographer working in the city of Chicago. I have a distinct style which is very dark in most instances. I have been lucky enough to have a last name that matched my dark imagery helping the branding process. Please view my current logo at:
the splash page is the logo I would like to change. My ideas are to keep it a black and white style of logo (perhaps some gray tones). I use some crazy lighting patterns in my work especially my environmental portraits. I would somehow like to replicate the look of what I do in the logo (multiple light sources illuminating the design)

My target audience are art buyers within creative agencies
I would like the logo to utilize typewriter 1942 and bank Gothic texts. I am open to other ideas as well but these are the fonts I do currently use. I would like to keep it dark and almost mysterious as to help me convey the message of Britton BLACK and my DARK imagery.
