Gianluca was an absolute pleasure to work with. He went the extra mile and put in a considerable amount more effort than other designers. He design for UrbanHappy was head and shoulders the best design out of the lot, so much so that I awarded the design before even reaching the final stage.

We currently manufacture and retail greeting cards. Our line up includes high-end, top quality cards - e.g., textured kraft paper letterpress cards. However, we are looking to expand the product line, so we don't want the logo focused on and pigeon holed into greeting cards. Rather we're looking for something more generic. Our target market is 35-50 years.
I'm intentionally keeping the brief "brief" in order to encourage a "blank canvas" approach. However, a few things to avoid would be anything too cartoony or too playful. Don't focus on the "urban" or "happy" elements of the name either. Without trying to steer too much in one direction, ideally we're after something elegant but funky, e.g., geometric design.
