dhalperi got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Myria: our academic cloud service needs a logo!
Check out dhalperi's Logo design contest…
Myria is a research project at the University of Washington for data analytics. Our target audience are scientists who are looking for cloud computing resources. A key feature of Myria is support for iterative (cyclic) computation. Related projects are Hadoop, Spark, Pig, GraphLab. http://myria.cs.washington.edu/ (ignore the absolutely awful logo)
Logo types to explore
The ideal logo will convey two ideas: 1) recursion (cyclic), 2) cloud, and also 3) have a Greek accent (as "Myria" is a Greek root). We guarantee that there will be a winner.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at HK$2,399.
